Parkers First Day of School

Parker started at a New School this week called Little Lambs at our Church. He was excited to have a new class but sad to leave his old school too. His teacher Mrs. Tracy made him feel right at home and he has setteled in real well. Here he is on his first day making a snowman. January 8th, 2007

Parkers first real Hair Cut

Today Parker decided that it was time to go to the Barber shop for a real hair cut instead of having Mommy do it. He was so excited all the way there. Once we walked in he said he was ready to go..Not too sure about his decision to come to the Barber Shop after all. Needless to say he sat there like a little gentleman because he knew there was a Tootsie Roll prize bribe from the lady at the end.

Last weekend we were excited that Bethany was able to come to play at our house. Her and Parker went cruising in the Gator. Parker insisted that Bethany ride in the back where the dirt went which didn't seem to bother her at all. They have so much fun together.

On New Years Day Fisher came over to go for a ride in the Gator and he was not quite sure what he thought about Parkers driving skills. The look on his face seemed to sum that one up. Too cute!

Thank you Ho Ho

What a Christmas we were blessed with this year. Having a healthy baby was what Walker and I asked Santa for. Sadie has been such a great gift to our family however, in Parkers eyes, Santa brought the best gifts ever. He got a bow and arrow set and a John Deere Gator that he calls his golf cart. He is quite the little driver and insists on always wearing his seat belt. He is also the proud owner of his own tool set and work bench so he can be just like Daddy. What a Christmas!

Parker's Christmas Program

Today was Parker's Christmas program at school. He was supposed to say..R - is for rejoice! A Savior is born! But instead he said.... R- is for rejoice! Sadie is born!...it was pretty cute. He also had to wear his button with Sadie's foot print on it. As usual, he stole the show at the very end with the closing prayer. I am so proud of him!!

Birthday

Sadie Grace Smith arrived at 11:33am on Tuesday December 11th weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 &1/4 inches long. She has a full head of black hair and looks like her big brother. She has her Grandpa Don's coloring ( she has that red indian blood). Right now she has blue eyes but I am sure they will change in time. She is a great baby and loves to sleep. She has put herself on a 4 hour schedule and is a great eater. She does not like diaper changes or baths...she is modest. She already loves to watch her big brother sing to her and make silly faces. She turns her head when she hears her Daddy walk in the room. They both already call her "princess". The boys went shopping for a few things we forgot that we needed and came home with 3 new outfits for her. They are worse than I am. So far we are all doing well.

Ok we are going to try this again. It has taken me close to 6 months to find this darn page and now I don't remember how to useit. I am writing because today is a big day for us. We go to the hospital at 8pm to be induced. I am excited and scared all at the same time. I am so ready to meet our new baby girl and see how big brother handles the change. He already has good days and bad days knowing she on her way. I'll keepyou posted. Pray for a healthy baby and smooth delivery. Kara
