Sadie at 15 weeks old

She sure is a happy bug these days!

Parker wanted a mowhawk like Sadie always has. Notice the Pirate tatoo on his shoulder? That thing would not come off for almost a week.

Sadie's first money from Daddy. The look on her face when he gave it to her is priceless!!!!! I think we might be in trouble.

Easter Sunday

Our Easter was pretty low key since we had just driven in from Houston the night before at midnight. The Easter bunny was good to both of the kiddos. Parker got candy, money a bathing suit and a new swim shirt. Sadie got her first bunny ears ( and as you can see Parker loved them) and a pink puppy that she loves to chew on. She also got her first Bible and a baby chic too. Parker had a blast with the confetti eggs and had to crack them on everyones head. The Kutzenbergers joined in on the fun too. As you can see Mrs. Kutz loved on Sadie and Mr. Kutz got an egg cracked on his head.

Pretty cute little boy if I do say so myself!!!

Spring Break Week

We had an unexpected death in my family the Friday before Spring Break. My oldest cousin Traci's husband passed away at the youg age of 40. We loaded up the kiddos and headed out. We decided we need to break up the trip to make it easier so our first night we spent in Austin with uncle Aaron, Aunt Maggie and Jackson. The boys had a lot of fun together and the next day got to go to the Austin Childrens Museum. I stayed home with Sadie but apparently the guitars were fun.
Lots of love for Sadie..........

After we left Austin we traveled to granbuy to stay with my Aunt Susan who has a beautiful home on about 50 acres. Parker kept busy by riding 4-wheelers, feeding the horses, playing baseball with Tu-Tu and trying to learn to skip rocks in the creek where the water was really cold. He was also able to play with his cousins Mia (in the picture) and Trinity and Kennedy.

Meanwhile Sadie hung out at the house, took her first sink bath and tried on her new adorable bathing suit minus the bottoms. We have determined the girl likes ruffles and tool and anything girly already. Boy are Walker and I in for it.
The funeral was really special and a great celebration of Marks life as a Father, Husband and Christian man. It was very well attend and it was good to see my family even though it was on really sad terms. After staying a few days in Granbury to try and let my kids rest we were off to Houston for the night to see Colleen and Jeremy. They took Parker bowling and to the park to slide and swing. He had alot of fun playing with Jeremy's Wii also. He was really getting into the bowling and would help Daddy out with his golf game as well.

Princess Sadie Grace at 13 Weeks

Who is a pretty princess?
Sadie was given this dress by her Aunt Tracey and she had so much fun playing in all the tool. She loved to pull it over her head. Her beautiful Tiarra was a gift from Judy Sparks. Pretty cute!

Livestock Show

Parker, Walker and I met Katelyn, Mel & R.D. and the Hollon's at the stock show today. As usual, Parker and Katy acted like a little married couple the whole time. At one point when they were pretend playing we overheard Katy tell Parker she was mad at him because he did not give her a kiss before she went to work....TOO CUTE!! Parker's favorite was the goats.

Meanwhile chubby Sadie stayed with Tu-Tu and played school. The second picture is after her nightly cereal. She is quite happy after she has her dinner. All in all today was a great day for everyone.

catching up......

Okay.....Okay....I know that I am behind here. Trust me....my father in law has reminded me several times that I need to update this blog. So I am going to try and recap the past 6 weeks as best I can. I seemed to miss Sadie's 8 week pictures some how. That was the week I started back to work on Tues. and Thursday. Tu-Tu comes over and keeps Sadie in the morning and then picks Parker up from school at 1:00 and they go to her house for afternoon nap time which Sadie is still not a fan of. I had to take Sadie to the doctor for her 2 month shots and she weighs 13lbs and 10 oz and is 23" long. She is slightly bigger than Parker was at this age. Quite the "Chunky Monkey". Her big accomplishment for the week is smiling and boy is she good at it. Pretty exciting. You forget how a baby can melt your heart. Parker is still having an adjustment time and is very defiant and having sleep issues.

9 weeks

At 9 Weeks we started Sadie on soy formula and she seems to be tolerating it so much better than the regular formula and the expensive stuff she was on for a few days. She recognises when we come in the room and when we leave. Parker had a terrible week behavior-wise so he had to miss his Valentine's party at school. It didn't seem to bother him too much. I think it bothered me a lot more!!! We keep praying for sweet little Parker to show back up. We made construction worker Valentines cards and gave all the kids in the class bubbles.

10 Weeks Feb. 19-25, 2008

At 10 weeks Sadie slept from 11-7 for the first time. Yeah Sadie!!! She weighs 15lbs 2 oz now. Walker left us for the week to go to a school in Memphis. I finally took Parker to the doctor to try and get a handle on his behavior. Dr. Dominguez was very kind and did not ignore my frustration. I told him about the continued night terrors, melt downs, anger issues and more. Everyone has been telling me it is just the three year age that is hard but I strongly disagree. This is something more than being 3. He agreed that it all probably stemmed from lack of sleep and agreed to put him on a medicine to make him drowsy and sleepy. We are going to try it for a while and see if we notice a change in his mood. I pray that this helps.....I will try anything at this point.

11 Weeks Old

So as I mentioned before Walker is out of town this week, Parker is challenging me on EVERYthing and Sadie decides she is not getting her fair share of attention so this is what she does to her exhausted Mommy.. She poops everywhere!!! Yes that is poop running down the wall and puddling on the floor below. I call for Parker to come and help me by bringing me a trash bag and when he rounds the corner and sees and smells the mess, he starts gaging.... so I make him leave before I am cleaning puke as well. Got to Love that Smith gag reflex. On a more positive note Parker learned to put his velcro shoes on all by himself....Very exciting for both he and I.

Yeah!!! Daddy is back in town and we are all so happy to have him home safely. I had purchased a bicycle with training wheels from Parker's school garage sale for a reward if he earned 10 good behavior stickers while Walker was gone. He earned them but partly because the last night and day he was with Pop and Nanna and he is great for them. He threw a fit before picking Walker up from the airport on Friday night so we decided to save the bike for a later reward. On Snday after church Parker stood up in his car seat and turned around and saw the bike I thought I had hidden so well in the back of the car and said.." like my new bike Mommy"....Walker and I just stared at each other not sure what to say and Parker then said "why are you guys making that face?" there was no taking the bike away at that point.

12 weeks old

March4-11

Don't you like my rolls??? The third picture looks like she is praying and the last picture is too sweet.

For the record this is the week that Walker had his little "no more babies" procedure done. He is pretty pittiful with his bag of frozen peas, holding up the couch. He has been a trooper though.I am proud of him although after having 2 babies I am not too sympathetic to the situation.

13 weeks

...Finally caught up!!! Let me start off by saying Parker is doing amazingly well. We have seen such a change in his temperment since he has been on this medicine. He actually goes to sleep when we put him to bed and sleeps most of the night. Now that he is more rested he is a different child. We still have normal three year old power struggles but nothing like before. I am so proud of him and grateful that the Lord answers prayers. He keeps us entertained these days hunting imaginary deer, riding his bike, making up silly songs and coloring. Sadie is holding her head like a big girl, wearing 6-9 month clothes, cooing a LOT, smiling and she started eating a little bit of cereal with a spoon. She LOVES her cereal and almost doesn't swallow much because she is too busy smiling.
